Re: Postcard From California [Smiley Smile Message Board] Posted: 31 Oct 2008 05:27 AM CDT According to Bruce, Mike added his vocals to "Don't Fight The Sea". Quote Aegir: Mike recently put his vocals on "Don't Fight The Sea" with Scott Totten engineering. Now you have Al, Brian, Mike & Carl singing all 'together' again on something kinda 'fresh' most likely sounding very pre-1965 classic BB vocal blendish........I think it's a cool move and I can't wait to hear it. Bruce Johnston Montecito October 30, 2008 I feel proud for having given him impetus to give an official word on that. |

Re: Steve Hoffman to remaster \ [Smiley Smile Message Board] Posted: 30 Oct 2008 09:46 PM CDT ( I somehow missed out on the boxed set). i for one like that box set. kinda fond of it, esp the credits in long book that comes with the set..... |
Re: Steve Hoffman to remaster \ [Smiley Smile Message Board] Posted: 30 Oct 2008 09:32 PM CDT What's the point indeed! I've been happy with my Linett stereo mix since I first bought it nearly 10 years ago ( I somehow missed out on the boxed set). And I may go to audiophile hell for saying so, but I am not impressed with every single mastering that Mr. Hoffman has put out. That's just me, and I don't mean any disrespect to SH. Pass... |
